Retainers
A retainer is specific to the type of session you book with us. Retainers are nonrefundable and cannot be transferred to a session at a later date. These deposits hold the date and time for your specific session. Retainers can be moved later if the client falls ill or has an emergency. If no date is available within the season/set up of the session, the client will receive the full retainer as a credit toward a future session of their choice.

Weather always plays a potential threat, and decisions to reschedule due to weather are made at my discretion to protect my gear and to provide the best session experience. Makeup dates will be arranged if a session or mini-session is rescheduled due to weather or other acts of nature. If the client is unavailable for a makeup date, the client will receive a full credit of the total paid, valid for 1 year from the original session date. The photographer's sickness or emergency is recognized as an act of nature, and we will contact you as soon as possible if the illness is a factor on our end.

If a client is late for a session, the session will still end at the original session end time.
Example: Your 30-minute mini-session was set to begin at 2:00 PM, and you arrive at 2:10 PM; your session will end at 2:30 PM with no adjustment, credit, or refund. This also applies to non-mini sessions. I book most sessions back-to-back and don’t have much wiggle room between the two. Please be courteous of my time.
Gift certificates are available anytime throughout the year to purchase. Gift certificate expiration dates will only be extended if used. They are good for 1 calendar year after purchase.
All sessions: 3 weeks max
Be mindful of turnaround times when booking your time-sensitive sessions- rush fees are available upon request before the 3-week turnaround time mark! Holiday mini-sessions will have a custom turnaround time and be announced when sessions begin booking.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are the images delivered?
All albums will be sent via email with a link to your online gallery. This gallery has digital high-resolution downloads that can be downloaded to your phone or computer. Your gallery will be available to view for 6 months after delivery, so be sure to download it as soon as you receive it and upload it to a flash drive or computer if you can.
Digital print releases are available upon request.

do you do any sneak peeks?
Yes! I love sharing sneak peeks for some sessions, but mainly I do this for weddings. You will receive a preview/sneak peek within the first week after your wedding date. This usually includes 20-30 edited images, and you have permission to post/share these to social media and friends.

how many fully edited images will I receive?
30-minute session: 40+
1 hr session: 60+
8 hr wedding: 500-1000
I always choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
I DO NOT SEND RAW FILES TO CLIENTS OF ANY KIND. NO RAW IMAGES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE.

Are there any hidden costs?
Nope! You pay for it all, and what do I mean by that?
When you receive your final edited album, you have access to all images in that album. They are yours to do with as you please! You will have full printing and downloading rights for all images.

do you travel?
Yes! Travel is available, and no additional charge will be added to the session unless 20 miles outside Newark, Ohio. Contact me for a personalized travel session quote!

do i post every session on social media?
No. I will discuss this during your session if you’re comfortable with me sharing your images on social media. If you wish not to have them posted/shared on social media platforms, please inform me of this during your session. Social media is the platform I use to promote my business, and posting my work to social media is my way of getting the word out about myself.
